Imam Hussein’s (AS) Role in Preserving Islam Discussed in Sierra Leon

Speaking at Mu’ammar Qaddafi Mosque in Freetown, Mohammadreza Qezelsofla, Iran cultural attaché in Sierra Leon discussed the role that Imam Hussein (AS) played in preserving Islam.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Speaking at Mu’ammar Qaddafi Mosque in Freetown, Mohammadreza Qezelsofla, Iran cultural attaché in Sierra Leon discussed the role that Imam Hussein (AS) played in preserving Islam.

He also explained some of the virtues of Imam Hussein (AS) based on hadiths and narrations for the worshippers at the mosque.

Brevity, faithfulness, patience, submission to the Divine will, generosity, self-sacrifice, and devotion were among the virtues mentioned by the Iranian representative.

He further referred to the importance of the two months of Rajab and Sha’ban and the happy occasions including birth anniversaries of some of the infallibles in the two Hijri months, and said performing good deeds and fasting during this period is necessary for getting ready for the month of Ramadan.
