Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), iqnAccording to Iran’s Cultural Center in Sudan, the opening ceremony of the three -day event was officiated by Umar Al Bashir, president of Sudan on June 22.
Secretary of the conference, secretary general of the Islamic Fiqh Society and the representative of Islamic World’s Scholars gave speeches at the function.
The conference is aimed at studying the issues of the contemporary world as well as Islamic Sharia.
30 papers will be presented at the conference on the following topics: Ijtihad and its effect on the Islamic laws, Islam and the media, Qisas in Islam, DNA and genetics, Quran and culture, role of Ijtihad in making economic rules and in family planning, and ways to fulfill the purposes of Islamic Sharia.
The conference will conclude on June 24.
