Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), According to Arab Online website, Mohammad Ali Al-Rabu, head of Quranic Affairs Department of Libya’s Awqaf and Charity Affair Department, said that the courses are being held in 2200 Quran memorization centers as well as 4000 mosques all over the country.
“The department has assigned 353 Quran instructors to supervise the courses in rural centers and mosques, and 650 male and female instructors to run them in the cities,” he added.
“The Awqaf and Charity Affair Department has provided the affiliated centers with the required Quranic manuscripts as well as other facilities and services.”
“Summer Quranic courses are intended to create enough motivation among the youth to memorize the holy Quran, activate mosques and Quranic centers in Quran instruction, and reinforce the educational and guiding role of mosques in fostering social solidarity and human values in Libya,” he further said.
