Iran dominates Senior Asian Wrestling Championship in New Delhi

By clinching three Gold, one Silver and one Bronze medal in Free Style category, the Islamic Republic of Iran dominated the on-going 23rd Senior Asian Wrestling Championship kicked off in New Delhi on Wednesday.

According to Ahlul Bayt (A) News Agency – ABNA.ir – By clinching three Gold, one Silver and one Bronze medal in Free Style category, the Islamic Republic of Iran dominated the on-going 23rd Senior Asian Wrestling Championship kicked off in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Ehsan Lashgari, Reza Yazdani, and Masoud Esmaeilpoor won Gold medals for the country.

Moreover, Saeed Riahi won Silver Medal and S. Mohammad-Reza Azarshakib clinched Bronze medal for Iran.

Top wrestlers from 21 countries including Islamic Republic of Iran are participating in the five-day (12th to 16th May-2010) championship that is also a test event for the wrestling competition of Commonwealth Games 2010.
