Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), A one- day conference organised by the Sisters Forum of the Shia Islamic Movement in Nigeria was held  in Kano on Sunday the 25th of Aril 2010. The conference attended by multitudes of female members of the Shia Movement is aimed at redirecting their thinking towards a sound ideology of the Shia Islamic Movement.

Different speakers presented speech on various topics. Malama Zeenah Ibraheem delivered a closing lecture where she spoke on the Mission of Man on Earth. She explained that by nature man is forgetful  and for that Almighty Allah, out His mercy, sent Prophets at various time to guide mankind and to remind them of their mission; with the Prophet Muhammad(SAWA) being the last Messenger of Allah(SW).

Malama Zeenah further added that after the Prophet, Allah out of His mercy raised Revivalists at various time to revive the teachings of Islam and to redirect the Ummah on the right track;  the Struggle of Sheikh Uthman Bn Fodio who revived the teachings of Islam in this part of the World is well known to all and the Islamic System of Governance  he established continued to flourish up to the time when Colonial masters destroyed and replaced it with a secular system.

She expresses gratitude to Allah for the fact that the leader of the Shia Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, by God’s favour, is now calling the Ummah to the true teachings of Islam just as Sheikh Bn Fodio did. A revivalist is the one which Allah raises and favours with some special qualities in order for him to be able to shoulder the responsibility of guiding the Ummah, she noted.

Part of the achievement of Sheikh Zakzaky’s Daáwah, Malama expressed, includes the wearing of Hijab by Muslim women an issue which, before that, was seen as strange thing though it is well written in Islamic books.

Malama Zeenah concluded by calling on the participating members to be of good moral character and to inculcate the habit of sincerity and trust.

Earlier on Malama Maimuna Abdullahi also delivered a speech to the members.
