Cultural Counselor of the Iranian Embassy in Pakistan, Syed Mortaza Saheb Fosool on Saturday described Hazrat Ali as a role model for Muslims around the world and said that every one should take examples from his life.
Iranian diplomat speaking as a chief guest at the book launching ceremony titled ‘Ali Ka Rasata’ at Jamia Al Kausar on Saturday urged to adopt teachings of Hazrat Ali to eradicate injustice from societies.
The book was launched in connection with the 31st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
The book has been contributed by a renowned scholar Allama Muhmmad Ali Tohadi. The book highlights the life, teachings and services of Hazrat Ali for cause of Islam and Muslim Umma as described by Supreme Leader of the Islamic revolution Seyed Ali Khamenei.
The book is actually written by Muhammad Ayan in Persian.
Speaking on the occasion Syed Mortaza Saheb Fosool said that Hazrat Ali was the most perfect man in knowledge, piety, sacrifice, struggle and other virtues. The diplomat said that Imam Ali invited all Muslims to study and think deeply about these truths.
He said that Hazrat Ali is an example for the Muslims and advised all people to take examples from him for their different passages of life.
He said that after many years Imam Khomeini with his great struggle establishment a true Islamic state in Iran and set an example for the other Muslim countries.
He thanked Pakistani religious scholars for their cooperation in preparing the book. He viewed that cultural activities between Iran and Pakistan should be encouraged to bring people of the two countries close to each other.
The event was organised jointly be Jamia-Al-Kausar and Iranian Cultural Consulate in Islamabad.
Chairman Council of Islamic Ideology, Dr Khalid Masood, Chairman Jamia Al-kausar Sheikh Mohsin Ali Najafi, Religious Scholar Syed Afzal Hyader and Dr Khosro Panah presented papers and delivered lectures highlighting the subject.
