Saudi govt stops 700 pilgrims from going to Karbala for Arbaeen (Chehlum) Imam Hussain (AS)

Informed sources from the Salfi’s Kingdom of Saudi Arabia told that the government has prevented seven hundred Saudi Hussaini pilgrims who were prepared to go to the holy city of Karbala via Bahrain for Arbaeen (Chehlum) Imam Hussain (AS) commemoration.

Arbaeen (Chehlum) marks the fortieth day after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS), the grandson of Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). More than 12 Million mourners of Imam Hussain (AS) will be expected in the Holy City of Karbala on the eve of Arbaeen (Chehlum) Imam Hussain (AS).

It may be noted that the Iraqi Government confirmed that about 0.5 million worshipers from outside the Iraq have been reached in Iraq to attend the Arbaeen.
