Entitled “Ghadir Khom, Pivot of Unity and Leadership”, the seminar was organized with the cooperation of Islamic College of Freetown as well as Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS), Al-Hadi (AS) and Jafaria Islamic organizations.
Iran’s cultural attaché in Sierra Leone Mohammad Reza Ghezelsofla presented a lecture at the seminar highlighting the significance of the event of Ghadir.
The center also organized celebrations on the auspicious occasion in different Islamic centers and mosques across the country including the grand mosque in Waterloo, Abuzar and Rasul Azam (PBUH) mosques in Freetown, Central Mosque, Salam Mosque and Rahman Mosque in Makeni, Al-Hassaneyn (AS) Mosque in the city of Bo, Rasul Azam (PBUH) Mosque in Kenema and Taghavi Mosque in Moyamba.
A celebration is also planned to be held today in the Islamic College of Freetown.
