On 28 October 2009, approximately 20 delegates from The Pentacostal Church of Tanzania (Nzega Branch) visited the Shia Ithna Ashery Masjid as an educational visit for students studying the Bible. 
After visiting the Jamaat office the delegates were taken on a tour of the Masjid, Ghusle Khan and Imambargha. The visitors asked several questions and were satisfied with the answers.
At the end of the visit, Alhaj Sibtain Meghjee, the Chairman of the Mwanza Jamaat presented the following gifts to the guests:20 Islamic Calendars with the message of human rights according to Islam 5 copies of Sahifa e Sajjadiya translated in Kiswahili 5 copies of Miujiza Ya Kisayansi Ndani ya Qurani (Scientific miracles of the Quran) 10 sets of Nahjul Balagha in Kishwahili
Father Elias Simon thanked the Jamaat for the educational visit and commented that the group had learned a lot from the visit.
