Hajj: First group of Algerian pilgrims leaves for Mecca

ALGIERS– The first Algerian delegation, made up of 188 pilgrims, members of the medical staff, and civil defence agents, have left Monday Algiers for the Holy Places in Saudi Arabia to perform the hajj.

A farewell ceremony was held on this occasion at Houari Boumediene International Airport, where Bouabdallah Ghlamallah, Minister of Religious Affairs and Awqaf, urged the delegation to abide by the guidelines and instructions provided by the Algerian mission that will remain at their disposal throughout their stay in Saudi Arabia.
