This year the Annual Procession took place in major cities like Paris, London, Moscow, Peking, New York, Tehran, and in all cities of the occupied Palestine itself.
In Nigeria peaceful processions were conducted in more than twenty (20) cities amongst which are: Lagos, Kaduna, Kano, Sokoto, and Maiduguri. However, in Zaria the police decided to open fire on the armless protesters against the illegal Israeli occupation of the Holy Mosque of Al-Aqsa and the land of the Palestine.
Unfortunately, it was only in Nigeria that the police opened fire on the demonstrators and in Zaria in particular thereby killing three Shia people while many sustained injuries. The state Police Commissioner confirmed the incidence during a news conference in Kaduna.
