The Supreme Leader’s message reads, “With deep sorrow and regret, I was informed of the martyrdom of cleric, His Excellency Mamostan Sheikholeslam, the Experts Assembly member, by the criminal agents of the arrogance. The noble man was martyred by agents of the false camp after tens of years of explicit defense of the right.” 
Ayatollah Khamenei said loyalty to the Islamic Republic system and defense of Islamic aspirations and the issue of Quds are unforgettable sins of the dear martyrs in the eyes of the criminals.
Elsewhere in his message, the Supreme Leader called on people of Kurdistan to distinguish their enemies, urging provincial security officials to stand firmly against such murderers and criminals.
The Ayatollah then condoled people of Kurdistan, especially the bereaved family of Mamostan Sheikholesla, on the tragic incident and prayed for divine forgiveness and ascension of the cleric.
