Hundreds of extremist Wahhabis in an inhuman act attacked a Shiite district and offended many of Ahl ul Bayt followers.
According to Ahl ul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), the attack launched in holy Medina on Monday night, seven Shia citizens injured which 2 of them are in critical condition.
According to informed sources, hundreds of extremist Wahhabis attacked innocent Shia prayers with stick, stone and knife.
After the incident Saudi security forces reached the area to prevent the attacks against Shias, during that Wahhabis ran away and just one of them arrested. According to witnesses Saudi forces surrounded the area with vehicles and emergency personnel until Tuesday morning to calm the situation.
The security forces opened an investigation about the incident, which is not the first of its kind.
It is noteworthy that a similar clash was happened in last April when some 200 Wahhabi fighters attacked the homes of Shiite neighborhood and injured three people.
