QadrNight Ceremony Holds in Mombasa - Africa

A ceremony on commemorating Qadr night was held with the presence of Iran cultural attaché and Iranian top reciter in Kenya last night, at Khuje Shia mosque of Mombasa.

Having said the ritual prayers, Imam of the mosque delivered a speech on the virtues of Qadr night (Laylat-al-Qadr) and characteristics of Imam Ali (AS) followed by reading of Joshan Kabir prayer by Masoud Piruzmand, the Iranian Quran reciter.

An exhibition of software products by the Computer Research Center of Islamic Sciences was also held on the sidelines of the ceremony which was highly welcomed by the participants.

Presence of the Iranian reciter in Islamic centers and mosques of Kenya and presenting Islamic-Quranic software products in this country, are among the measures have been taken by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization in line with holding "Quranic Week" in 32 countries around the world, including Kenya.
