Saudi authorities attacked Shia mosque in al-Khobar city and forcibly expelled the prayers and finally sealed the doors of mosque. According to Ahl ul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), quoting from Rasid, informed sources said that Saudi forces and anti-riot police, attacked prayers and surrounded Shia Ismaili mosque in al-Khobar and arrested some of the prayers.
One of the worshipers said: after performing Namaz, Saudi Wahhabi forces attacked to hundred of the Shias prayers, forced them to leave the mosque and severely closed the entrance of mosque with iron bars and prevented everyone for performing Salat (prayer). Furthermore they arrested some of the Shias to the unknown place.
The mosque has been repeatedly shut down since last May for unknown reasons. It is the fifth Shia mosques in the city of Khobar, some going back to thirty years ago and was closed in recent months.
