Saudi security authorities in a sectarian oppression have arrested five Shias on Friday in al-Ahsa, because of their participation in religious ceremony.

According to Ahl ul-Bayt New Agency (ABNA.ir), informed sources reported that Saudi extremist authorities arrested the Sayed Abdullah Sayed Nasser al-Ali (29 years), Sayed Hussein Sayed Nasser al-Ali (25 years) and Sayed Nasser Sayed Jaafar al-Ali (27 years), Sadiq Hussain al-Hammad (36 years), Yusuf Mohamed alshala (28 years). All five youths are from the town of Rumaila in al-Ahsa.

The five youths were arrested at a raid to their homes.

The wave of arresting Shias has been greater than before in recent days. Most of the arrests were in the pretext of the participation of young people in the ceremony of Ashura since last January.

The residents accused the authorities and revealed that Saudi forces deliberately arrest Shias in order to intimidate them when they want participate in celebrations at the end of this week in various towns and villages to mark the birth of the Twelfth Imam Mahdi.
