To eliminate anti-Shia discrimination in Egypt, Rasim al-Nafis would establish a Non-Governmental Egyptian Shia Organization.
According to Ahl ul-Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Dr. Rasim al-Nafis would establish the Non-Governmental Egyptian Shia Organization on behalf of the 15 leaders of the Shias in Egypt.
Dr. Nafis sent his request to the Directorate of Social Affairs in the Helwan Association to establish Shia Organization via law.
Dr. Rasim al-Nafis, the grate Egyptian Shia thinker and university professor stressed that the founding of Shia Organization is not a substitute for the Al ul- Bayt Center or any institution of Shias in Egypt. (Al ul-Bayt institution is the basic center for Shias in Egypt. (Muhammed El-Derini is the Secretary-General of the Council).
The aim of the new Assembly is to obtain legal protection for Shias and to eliminate restricts and prejudices against Shias.
One million Shia live in Egypt.
