Digital Encyclopedia of Aphorisms of Imam Ali (AS) Published

Iran’s Computer Research Center of Islamic Sciences (CRCIS) produced the digital encyclopedia of aphorisms of Imam Ali (AS) entitled “Alavi Encyclopedia.”

The CD contains 121 treatises on the Nahj-ul-Balagha of Imam Ali (AS) which is comprised of 33 volumes of accounts in Persian and Arabic and 27 translations of the book in Persian, English and French.

The five authentic versions of Nahj-ul-Balagha are also available on the CD for users. There are facilities for comparing between different versions of Nahj-ul-Balagha.

In the Display Section, the user can gain access to the original text, the translation as well as the commentaries on the part of Nahj-ul-Balagha text they are reading, MNA reported.

Also included in the software are tools for researching terminology or idioms used in the text of Nahj-ul-Balagha. Additionally, hadiths, poems and prayers cited in Nahj-ul-Balagha are also available.

There are also indexes which assist users in finding topics discussed by Imam Ali (AS) in the book.

The Holy Quran and a dictionary are available in the Library Section of the software and there is also a bibliography for introducing users with the sources.

The software is available from Iran’s Computer Research Center of Islamic Sciences center in Qom as well as its store in Tehran.
