“Women in Islamic History” Int’l Conference Planned

An international conference entitled “Women in the History of Islam during the 7th-13th Centuries” is to be held in Tehran in the coming November.

The conference is organized by the Society of Women Researchers of History with the cooperation of a number of universities as well as cultural and academic research centers.

There is going to be a press gathering on Tuesday, May 5, to discuss the goals and main themes of the conference.
