Aimed at strengthening Islamic unity, the seminar is going to be organized by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in cooperation with a number of Indonesian Islamic organizations.
Scholars from Iran, Syria, Egypt, Turkey, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Pakistan, and India will be present at the two-day event.
Among the issues to be discussed are the potentials among Islamic countries for cooperation in cultural, political and economic arenas.
