AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The 3rd preliminary session on the construction, development, and restoration of holy shrines is scheduled to take place under the aegis of the Islamic Research Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi.
Dr. Mehdi Sahragard, a faculty member at Islamic Azad University of Mashhad, will talk on ‘Reflection on the Kufic Inscription of the Safavid Mosque in Kazemin’.
Additionally, Dr. Morteza Enferadi, head of the Sacred Shrines Social Studies Group at the Islamic Research Foundation, will speak on ‘The importance of Sacred Shrines among Muslims from the perspective of Islamic sources’.
Other topics to be discussed include ‘Pilgrimage throughout history, beyond the boundaries of a single discipline’ and ‘The importance of memoir writing in cultural relations between Iran and Atabat Al-Aliat (Holy Shrines in Iraq)’, presented by Hoj. Seyyed Reza Shirazi, a faculty member of the Foundation's Research Institute, and Dr. Abolfazl Hassanabadi, head of manuscripts at AQR’s Central Library.
Dr. Asghar Montazer al-Ghaem, a history professor at Isfahan University and chair of the session, will elaborate on ‘The economic conditions of Najaf until the eighth century AH’.
