AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Head of Pakistan Shia Educational Association Ayatollah Hafiz Syed Riaz Hussain Najafi has stated during his Friday prayer sermons at the Imam Ali Mosque in Lahore, Pakistan that an individual’s success in the world does not depend on material possessions, rather on his deeds and behavior.
Referring to the concept of happiness and salvation in human life, he stated,” After death, the fate of each individual either ends in heaven or hell, and this choice is made based on his deeds in the world. Wealth and property have no value in themselves, but it is good deeds that determine a person’s true status in the hereafter.”
Referring to the ongoing crises in the world, Ayatollah Hafez Riyadh pointed to two examples of recent developments, saying, "Today, the people of Gaza are victims of the Zionist regime's oppression and tyranny, and this region is struggling. On the other hand, in Los Angeles, a massive fire broke out that destroyed an area of 42 kilometers. These incidents show that no one is safe from calamity and disaster. Therefore, one should not rejoice in the problems of others, rather learn from them, because no one knows what fate awaits him.”
