AhlulBayt News Agency: The staff of the Department of the care of the Holy Courtyard at the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine posted signs of grief and condolence in commemoration of the death anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her).

The sewing of the pieces and banners was supervised by the sewing and embroidery division of the gifts and vows department at the holy shrine.

The assistant head of the Department of care of the holy shrine Sheikh Zain al-Abidin Al-Quraishi said that "there is a special occasion for the death anniversary of Lady Zaynab(peace be upon her); and because this year is exceptional on this sad anniversary, the Secretariat General of the holy shrine directed to intensify efforts to show the city in a manner befitting the size of the painful occasion".

He added that" these activities came within the program prepared by the holy shrine by identifying the Qibla Gate Street of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) as a station for service processions".

He pointed out that"this year the Holy Shrine witnessed an intensity in spreading blackness and signs of sadness, as in the months of Muharram and Safar, as the engineering staff in the Department of crafts and engineering maintenance worked to replace the lighting inside and outside the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine to the red color; an expression of sadness on this sad anniversary".

Al-Quraishi continued,"cooperation was carried out between the Departments of maintaining order, rituals and processions, to set paths for the entry and exit of mourners and Husseini processions to the Holy Shrine, and three corridors were prepared in separate places inside the holy shrine to hold condolences.

He explained that"the staff of the Department erected a mast to raise the banner of Lady Zaynab(peace be upon her), which will be raised by the people of Karbala at the Qibla Gate of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(peace be upon him)".

The Al-Abbas's (p) shrine is keen to commemorate the death anniversary of Lady Zaynab(peace be upon her) by preparing an integrated program, including the establishment of mourning councils, preaching and guidance, in addition to recalling her role (peace be upon her) in preserving and disseminating the message of her brother Imam al-Hussayn(peace be upon him).
