AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): During his visit to Bangladesh, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly attended a gathering of the youth from the Imam Mahdi (a.s.) Association in the city of Khulna.
Addressing the responsibilities of those awaiting Imam Mahdi (a.s.), Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “We have three major duties regarding Imam Mahdi (a.s.). The first is self-purification and self-reform. The second duty is helping others to purify themselves, and we must, to the best of our ability, support others, especially the youth. The third duty is paving the way for the Reappearance.”
Speaking about the responsibilities of the believers towards Imam Mahdi (a.s.), he said, “We must increase our knowledge of Imam Mahdi (a.s.), strengthen our love for him, and obey this Infallible Imam. Moreover, obedience to Imam Mahdi (a.s.) today is embodied in obedience to the Marja’iyyah and Wilayah.”
Addressing the youth of the Imam Mahdi (a.s.) Association, the Secretary-General remarked, “My special advice to you is this: whatever you do, do it for Imam Mahdi (a.s.). Any service you provide should be in his name, and you should work to spread his name in society. Some people wander here and there in search of seeing Imam Mahdi (a.s.), but such efforts are unnecessary. If we perform good deeds, Imam Mahdi (a.s.) himself will come to us, and we may even see him, though we may not recognize him.”
