AhlulBayt News Agency: The Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, called for working to achieve scientific sobriety in universities, and paying attention to the behavioral aspect.
This came during his eminence's reception of a religious and academic delegation from Pakistan, and listening to a detailed explanation about the situation of believers there.
While inviting the academic delegation to cooperate between Pakistani and Iraqi cultural and scientific institutions, His Eminence stressed the importance of working to strengthen the cultural and scientific aspect in society, pointing out that the holy shrine sponsors many cultural and intellectual activities aimed at various segments of society in Pakistan, including an annual cultural festival, and opened a representative office to hold these activities and others.
Sayed al-Safi assured the academic delegation that just as universities need scientific sobriety and attention to the scientific side, they need attention to behavior and preserving the identity of society, and that professors should be a model for students in terms of behavior, calling for continuous work on the demand for science and providing the appropriate educational environment to achieve this.
His Eminence Sayed al-Safi pointed out that there are good competencies in Pakistan, and some specialized figures were recruited who contributed with Iraqi engineers and technicians through the Engineering Projects Department to the completion of the Al-Joud intravenous solutions factory, one of the projects of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and some of them are still working there.
His Eminence pointed out that visiting the holy shrines is important to renew the covenant with the holy imams(peace be upon them) and strengthen the moral aspect, praying for the success of everyone and for the good and goodness of society.
For his part, the professor of the Hawza in Najaf, Sheikh Sajid Redha Khan Najafi, said that the Pakistani delegation met with the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, and listened to his advice and guidance.
He added that the delegation discussed joint cooperation and strengthening relations between Iraqi and Pakistani universities, and His Eminence Sayed Al-Safi welcomed cooperation and building good relations to serve the community.
