AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A senior Iranian cleric highlights the all-encompassing guidance that Islam provides for both individual and social aspects of life.
Speaking in a local conference on Thursday, Ayatollah Mahdi Shabzendedar stressed that Islam addresses all human needs across various domains, including personal, social, governmental, political, and cultural spheres.
"Islam is responsible for guiding every dimension and aspect of individual and social life," said Shabzendeda, who is the secretary general of the Supreme Council of Seminaries.
"It responds to all human needs in personal, social, governmental, political, cultural, and other areas. Therefore, we must have knowledgeable scholars in all relevant fields who are aware of divine objectives."
Drawing from the teachings of Imam Sadiq (AS), Shabzendedar pointed the importance of providing accurate and clear answers to questions and doubts.
"The desired response is one that does not merely aim to convince the other party but is correct, free from fallacies, and not mixed with falsehood. Responses should also be clear and straightforward," he explained.
He further stressed the necessity of adhering to the requirements of the Quran and Hadith when addressing doubts.
"In our responses, we must be committed to both detailed and concise answers. The response should be reasoned in such a way that it does not leave the other party bewildered," he added.
Shabzendedar also underscored the need to boost the young generations' faith in God, noting, "Anything established by God is undoubtedly obligatory to obey. We must work on monotheistic matters so that young people accept God's commands as He has stated them."
He also noted that if people and youth believe that religious scholars and clerics are genuinely concerned for them and not attached to worldly matters, their responses will resonate more deeply. "If people and youth are convinced that religious scholars and clerics are sincere and not attached to worldly matters, their responses will certainly resonate with them," Shabzendedar said.
