The Yemeni Army says carried out drone and missile strikes on US Aircraft Carrier USS Harry Truman in the Red Sea after coordinated attacks by Israel, US and the UK on Sana'a and other Yemeni town.
Local media in Yemen reported on Friday coordinated Israeli, American and British warplanes airstrikes on different cities in Yemen, the Yemeni military said that US Aircraft Carrier USS Harry Truman in the Red Sea was targeted by the Yemen Ansarullah-led government in retaliation.
In a statement on Friday Yemeni military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said that "In order to support the oppressed people of Palestine and its fighters and respond to the crimes against our brothers in the Gaza Strip, and within the framework of the fifth stage of the 'Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad', the Yemeni armed forces carried out several military operations over the past 48 hours, the most important of which was targeting the US aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman and its associated naval equipment in the northern Red Sea operational area with several drones and missiles. This joint operation by the missile and drone unit of the Yemeni armed forces thwarted the US plot for a new air attack on Yemen, which was going to be carried out from the aircraft carrier Harry Truman, and forced the ship to leave the northern Red Sea."
The spokesman added "Yesterday, the Yemeni armed forces also targeted the positions of the Zionist regime in occupied Jaffa with three drones, and with God's grace, the drones successfully hit their targets."
