AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, who has traveled to Bangladesh at the invitation of religious figures in the country, shared his thoughts in an interview with one of Bangladesh’s media outlets regarding the purpose of his visit.
“I feel very positive about my visit to Bangladesh, one of the major Islamic countries. One of the primary goals of my trip is to meet with Muslim leaders and Shiite and Sunni scholars of this country. Accordingly, I have scheduled programs in various cities in Bangladesh with the participation of Shiite and Sunni clerics and university professors. I aim to convey this critical message: today, more than ever, the Islamic world needs unity,” he stated in this regard.
“Our enemies are striving to create discord within the Islamic Ummah, and we must remain vigilant and take the unity of the Islamic Ummah very seriously. Division yields no results other than harm to Muslims. Unity can bring about scientific, political, and economic power for Muslim countries, and this is a vital objective we must work towards,” he continued.
The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly highlighted, “Our perspective on Palestine is that Palestinians should govern their country. We should not view Palestine as merely a small region; rather, all Muslims must see it as a part of the Islamic world. All Muslims should be concerned for Palestine. If the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) were alive today, one of his primary concerns would undoubtedly be the issue of Palestine and the killing of women and children there. Therefore, the Islamic world must unite to strengthen Palestine.”
