AhlulBayt News Agency: An advanced training course for international Quranic instructors will be organized at the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) in Qom, Iran.
It will be held by the Quran and Hadith Center of the holy shrine, the website of the Astan (custodianship) of the mausoleum, reported.
The course is for those who are proficient in English, Arabic, or Urdu and are interested in teaching the Quran.
The Quran and Hadith Center is offering the specialized international Quran instructor training course for both women and men.
Applicants must be at least 20 years old, have a minimum of a high school diploma, be proficient in either English, Arabic, or Urdu, and pass an entrance exam and interview to qualify for registration in this course.
Specific requirements for candidates in the field of Quranic recitation and Tajweed include proficiency in recitation at the Level 1 of Tajweed. For the Quran memorization field, candidates must have memorized at least five Juzes (parts) of the Quran.
The course will be conducted online, and registration is open to men and women across the country. However, participation in the workshop of the course is only available in person and exclusively for residents of the holy city of Qom.
The training course will start in the second half of February 2025, taking place every Thursday and Friday for three hours each session.
The workshop will be held after the Nowruz holidays (March).
Upon completion of the course, if needed, top students would be invited to collaborate in teaching in the international section.
