AhlulBayt News Agency: The second training course on “Fundamentals of Quranic Media” was held in the holy city of Karbala, Iraq.
It was organized by the Quranic Media Center of the Dar-ol-Quran affiliated with the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine.
This course included three main areas: news writing, photography, and presentation of Quranic circles.
There were participants from the branches of the Dar-ol-Quran Center in 15 governorates of Iraq.
According to Wassam Nadhir al-Dalfi, the head of the Quranic Media Center, it was the second course aimed at promoting media institutions affiliated with the center’s branches across Iraq, and it focused on enhancing the skills of media personnel.
The event began with a recitation by Ali Mousa, a reciter and media activist, followed by a speech from Sheikh Khair al-Din Hadi, the head of the Dar al-Quran.
In his speech, Sheikh Hadi stated that media efforts, as a mission, should be conveyed in the best possible way with a focus on creativity and innovation.
He said that the Quran carries significant media messages for guiding the community.
He also highlighted the importance of the media’s mission in the current situation, and the necessity of supporting Quranic media and conveying the Quran’s message to society.
