AhlulBayt News Agency: The secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortadha Aal Dia-Uddin, received the crowds of well-wishers on the occasion of his reassignment by the Shiite Waqf court to continue his duties as secretary general of the holy shrine for another three years.
The well-wishers from various segments of society who arrived at the Holy Shrine offered congratulations and blessings to the secretary general of the Holy Shrine on the occasion of his re-assignment as secretary general of the Holy Shrine, calling on Allah the Almighty to guide him to serve the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and his visitors.
According to the document of the Shiite endowment Bureau, the reassignment was carried out "upon the approval of His Eminence the supreme religious authority, Sayed Ali al-Husseini al-Sistani, on the date of Rabi' al-thani 1446 AH, and based on Article (4) III/E, of the Shiite endowment Bureau Law No. 57 of 2012, and for the requirements of the business interest, it was decided to reappoint Sayed Mustafa Mortadha Abboud Aal Dia-Uddin as secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for another three years, starting from the expiration date of the previous term".
The document added, " Sayed Mustafa Mortadha Abboud Aal Dia-Uddin is tasked with nominating the deputy secretary-general and five members of the board of Directors of the Shrine to work in accordance with it.
At the beginning of January 2022, Sayed Aal Dia-Uddin was appointed as the secretary-general of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, succeeding engineer Mohammed Al-Ashigar.
Prior to his appointment as secretary general; Sayed Mustafa was a member of the board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and since assuming the post, he has conducted many field tours to inspect the projects and services provided to visitors.
In the past period, he has also worked to strengthen joint cooperation with the holy shrines in various fields in order to improve the services provided to visitors.
The decision to appoint Sayed Mustafa was welcomed by the Sayed servants of the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), who expressed their happiness and prayed for his success in his duties.
