AhlulBayt News Agency: A delegation from the Karbala Health Department praised the Southern Green Belt project of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.
The head of the green belt Department, Mr. Nasser Hussein, said: "a delegation from the Karbala Health Department praised the Southern Green Belt project of the holy shrine, during his visit to the project, which stretches 27 kilometers from the northwest to the southeast of the province of Karbala.
He added that"the delegation was briefed on the successes achieved by the project and how the work is progressing, while making some important observations to work on its development".
For his part, the director general of the Department of Health, Dr. Sabah al-Mousawi, said that "our visit today aims to get acquainted with the Green Belt project of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine and the green oases it contains.
He explained that"the project is an achievement that is added to the series of achievements of the holy shrine and its properties, as it combines the recreational, productive and service aspects for the people of Holy Karbala and its visitors".
For his part, one of the delegation members, Dr. Amer al-Haidari, stressed that"the project represents a real outlet for the people of Karbala, as it provides them with an entertainment atmosphere that contributes to recreation and breaking the daily routine, in addition to its role in enhancing the overall aesthetic of the city".
