AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Pilgrimage with wisdom, spiritual and memorable in nature, is the main approach of Imam Reza holy shrine’s Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs says Hoj. Seyyed Mohammad Zolfaghari, director of the office.
Talking about services rendered to the foreign pilgrims of the complex, Zolfaghari said: “Many devotees of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) travel to Mashhad every year to visit Imam Reza shrine; the Office for Foreign Pilgrims’’ Affairs strives to provide worthy services to this group of visitors”.
He added: “These services are provided in Dar al-Marhamah and Dar al-Rahmah porticos for Arabic-speaking pilgrims and in Ghadir Portico for Urdu-speaking pilgrims. The newly established portico named Melal Portico also hosts Azeri-speaking pilgrims and those coming from other countries”.
Hoj. Zolfaghari went on to say: “The office has provided many other services and programs for this group of visitors such as tours of the shrine, ritual ceremonies, and visits to museums of the holy shrine”.
“The objective behind holding these ceremonies is to create a memorable pilgrimage experience filled with spiritual enrichment for those who travel from afar and are eager to visit Imam Reza shrine,” he concluded.
