Procession of two holy shrines commemorates martyrdom of Imam Ali al-Hadi in Samarra (+Photos)

The procession of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali al-Hadi (peace be upon him) in the city of Samara.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The procession of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali al-Hadi (peace be upon him) in the city of Samara.

The assistant head of the Religious Affairs department at the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine, Sheikh Adel al-Wakeel, said:"the procession of the two holy shrines used to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali al-Hadi (peace be upon him) by organizing a march in the city of Samara towards his Holy Shrine, followed by the establishment of a mourning Council in the hallway of Imam al-Hadi (peace be upon him) in his holy shrine."

He added that"the mourning council comes within a range of activities held by the procession of the two holy shrines, which include providing various services to visitors to the shrine of the two imams al-Hadi and al-Askari (peace be upon them), including: drinking water, meals, in addition to snacks".

Al-Wakeel explained that"the activities of the procession include the establishment of community prayer, the organization of condolence councils, and work to guide young people and raise their awareness of moral and spiritual values, in addition to disciplining them and instilling noble principles in them".
