Ex-war Israeli terrorist minister "Yoav Gallant" resigns from Knesset

Former Israeli minister of military affairs Yoav Gallant has announced his resignation from Knesset (the Israeli regime's parliament) less than two months after being fired by prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu from the army’s top brass.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Former Israeli minister of military affairs Yoav Gallant has announced his resignation from Knesset (the Israeli regime's parliament) less than two months after being fired by prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu from the army’s top brass.

The two have frequently clashed over who is to blame for the “security lapse” that led to the Hamas-led attack on the occupying entity on October 7, 2023, as well as the handling of the ongoing war in Gaza that was launched on the same day.

In November, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an arrest warrant for both Netanyahu and Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The genocidal war has killed more than 45,500 Palestinians, mostly women and children, displaced almost the entire population, and left much of the coastal territory in ruins.

In its verdict, the court said there were “reasonable grounds” to believe that both Gallant and Netanyahu “intentionally and knowingly” deprived Palestinians in Gaza of basic needs like food and water, adding that their actions geared towards destroying the conditions of life in the coastal sliver constituted crimes against humanity.

Earlier this month, however, the United States, the Israeli regime’s biggest ally that has backed it up with billions of dollars in military support during the war, welcomed Gallant on its soil.

Gallant met with US President Joe Biden’s West Asia envoy, Brett McGurk, at the White House on December 10, posting information about the meeting on social media and attaching pictures of the duo’s shaking hands joyously.
