AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Some 150 Shia pilgrims from Madagascar benefited from the cultural services at Imam Reza shrine in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad.
According to Hoj. Seyed Mohammad Zolfaghari, the Deputy for Non-Iranian Pilgrims’ Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi, “Some 150 Shia pilgrims from Madagascar visited Imam Reza shrine and participated in a special program organized by the office at Dar al-Rahmah Portico”.
The pilgrims engaged in a shrine tour, where they were introduced to the architectural styles and artworks of the sacred places. They also received a brief history of the shrine.
The cultural programs also included a speech on Imam Reza’s life and conduct in French, a video clip introducing the position of the 8th Imam among Shia Muslims, and the distribution of cultural packages.
These activities allowed the pilgrims to deepen their spiritual experience and understanding of Imam Reza's life and conduct.
