Al-Abbas Shrine concludes closing ceremony of Al-Kafeel Scout Association's programs for 2024 (+Photos)

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has concluded the closing ceremony of the Al-Kafeel Scout Association's programs for the year 2024.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has concluded the closing ceremony of the Al-Kafeel Scout Association's programs for the year 2024.

The central closing ceremony of the Al-Kafeel Scout Association's programs for the year 2024 was organized by the association affiliated to the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the holy shrine, under the slogan (generations following the footsteps of the prophets) for the period 27 - 28/ 12/ 2024.

The head of the Department; Sayed Aqeel al-Yasiri, said:"the closing ceremony of the Al-Kafeel Scout events for the year 2024 comes at the end of the association's programs, activities and various programs that it organized in a whole year, including Quranic aspects, in addition to scouting, sports and developmental activities."

"These activities have contributed to the preparation of a distinguished group of scouts who possess the skills and awareness necessary to serve the community,"he added.

For his part, the official of the activities and camps division at the association, Dr. Zaman al-Kanani, said:"the first day of the ceremony included the performance of more than 1000 Scout elements Ziyarat ceremony and repeating the Scout Promise at the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), in addition to holding a parade at the Karbala International Stadium with the participation of various scout groups: Cubs, Scouts, and Rangers."

"The second day of the ceremony included a specialized seminar that discussed the vision of the global and regional scout movement and its goals, as well as highlighting the educational messages carried by these activities,"he added.

The ceremony concluded with honoring the participants and contributors to the success of its activities from official figures such as the ministries of youth, sports and education, as well as public associations for education, and private Scout associations in the Iraqi provinces.
