The International Journalism Training Course Commences in Qom

The International Journalism training course began on Friday, December 20, 2024, by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) International News Agency – ABNA – in the conference hall of the agency in Qom.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The International Journalism training course, focusing on “Media Activism in the International Arena,” was launched on Friday, December 20, 2024, by AhlulBayt (a.s.) International News Agency – ABNA – at the agency’s conference hall in Qom.

This course features sessions by Dr. Soheil Asa’ad, Hassan Shemshadi, Morteza Ghoroghi, Mohammad Qadrei, Marzieh Hashemi, Dr. Elham Abedini, Elham Shakeri, Hojat al-Islam Dr. Mohammad Ali Mirzaei, Sheikh Mohammad Moyga, and Hassan Sadraei Aref.

In the opening ceremony, highlighting the significance of media, ABNA’s managing director, Hassan Sadraei Aref, stated, “Media is the pillar of war and the battlefield. Today, the media has reached its highest level of influence. Therefore, we must both stay informed about media developments and be able to engage in international media activities. To this end, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) International News Agency – ABNA – organized the International Journalism training course focusing on Media Activism in the International Arena.”

“Distinguished and experienced instructors are participating in this course, which serves as a strong starting point for future courses under the broad theme of international journalism,” he added.

The director of ABNA News Agency further stated, “In response to audience demand, we are planning a course aimed at addressing doubts and defending the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school in the international arena through the lens of media. These training courses represent a blessed tree for enhancing media capabilities on a global scale.”

“Despite limited advertising, the International Journalism course received remarkable interest. Approximately 300 individuals registered, and ultimately, 70 participants from five nationalities were selected to attend the course either in person or virtually,” Sadraei Aref said in the end.
