AhlulBayt News Agency: Eight Palestinian citizens were martyred and several others were injured, some seriously, during the ongoing Israeli military raid in Tulkarem, which started after midnight on Tuesday.

According to media and medical sources, four young men were killed and others were injured yesterday evening when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) bombed them using a drone in Tulkarem refugee camp, north of the West Bank.

Local sources identified these four martyrs as Muhaimen al-Akhras, Jum’ah Salem, Amran Haroun and Qusay Okasha, affirming that they are resistance fighters from Tulkarem.

In the afternoon, a similar drone attack in Tulkarem camp claimed the lives of two women and injured three others, including a child, according to the Palestinian health ministry. The martyred women are Khawla Abdo, 53, and Baraa Ali, 18.

Earlier on the same day, another drone strike injured three citizens in Nur Sham refugee camp, which is located inside Tulkarem City. Injuries of some victims were described as serious.

Meanwhile, the body of a young man identified as Mahmoud Mohamed was found lying on a road in Nur Shams camp after he seemingly bled to death. Eyewitnesses said he was shot dead by Israeli sniper fire.

At dawn, an Israeli sniper shot dead a teenager identified as Fathi Obeid in al-Hadayda neighborhood of Tulkarem refugee camp.

At around 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, the IOF stormed Tulkarem refugee camp, imposed a tight siege on it, spread in its streets, and deployed several snipers on rooftops of some tall buildings around it, who opened fire at any moving object or person.

Meanwhile, IOF bulldozers embarked on destroying roads, walls, cars, stores and different structures, and blocked the camp’s main entrance with mounds of dirt and rocks.

The IOF destruction of roads and infrastructure reportedly caused damage to the camp’s electricity and water grids and its internet and telecommunication services.

Later in the evening, the IOF expanded its campaign in Tulkarem and raided the city and its Nur Shams camp.

Resistance fighters from Tulkarem reportedly detonated explosive devices at Israeli forces and vehicles and showered them with bullets during the IOF campaign in Tulkarem and its refugee camps.
