AhlulBayt News Agency: A Palestinian woman in her 50s was martyred and three other citizens suffered shrapnel wounds in an Israeli airstrike in Tulkarem refugee camp in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday afternoon.
Local and media sources said that an Israeli drone bombed a gathering of citizens in al-Hamam neighborhood in Tulkarem camp, killing 53-year-old Khawla Abdo and injuring three other civilians, one seriously.
One of the wounded is a 10-year-old child, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
Earlier in the morning, a teenager was shot dead by an Israeli sniper in Tulkarem camp.
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Tulkarem camp after midnight and laid tight siege to it, amid intensive gunfire.
In the morning, the IOF embarked on destroying public and private property and carried out different violations in the camp.
Meanwhile, resistance fighters reportedly attacked Israeli forces and vehicles with live ammunition and explosive devices during the ongoing IOF campaign in the camp.
In a related context, the Hamas Movement described the persistent IOF raids in Tulkarem and its refugee camps, which involved widespread destruction of homes and infrastructure, as “part of the genocidal war being waged on the Palestinians in Gaza.”
In a statement, senior Hamas official Abdul-Rahman Shadeed applauded the resistance fighters in Tulkarem from al-Qassam Brigades and other factions for their bravery in confronting Israeli forces and clashing with them.
