AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Azhar Grand Mosque in Cairo, Egypt, will host a seminar on the rhetorical aspects of the Quran and their impact on interpretation.
Slated for Tuesday, December 24, 2024, it is part of the weekly seminars organized by Al-Azhar about contemporary issues.
Mohammed Abdul Malik, the deputy chancellor of Al-Azhar University, Abdul Munim Faud, an official with Al-Azhar Grand Mosque, and Rabi al-Ghafir, a linguistics professor at Al-Azhar will addressed the seminar.
According to Abdul Munim, the series of seminars are significant activities whose topics are chosen based on current issues in Egypt and the Islamic world and the doubts raised about Islam.
He added that after selecting the topics, the speakers for each program are carefully chosen from among the distinguished experts, scholars, and thinkers from Al-Azhar University and other institutions.
Since successfully holding a series of seminar on contemporary issues during Ramadan, titled “Doubts and Responses,” Al-Azhar has continued this program weekly every Tuesday, he went on to say.
