AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Thousands of Zionists thronged the streets of Tel Aviv to press their demand for a ceasefire with the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip, news sources reported.
The mass demonstration in the streets of Tel Aviv on Saturday night and their call on the Zionist regime get all captives freed from Gaza with a comprehensive agreement is yet another reminder of growing ant-regime sentiment among Israelis.
Saturday’s protest was called by the Zionist opposition leader to pressure the regime's officials to reach an agreement with Hamas to release all prisoners.
We call for demonstrations in Tel Aviv and several other cities this evening (Saturday) and demand an agreement to return the captives, the Association of Families of Zionist Prisoners in Gaza issued a statement simultaneously with Yair Lapid's call for demonstrations.
The demonstrations against Benjamin Netanyahu and his regime came at a time when the latest poll conducted by the newspaper Ma'ariv shows that 74 percent of Zionists living in the occupied territories are in favor of reaching a prisoner exchange agreement.
According to the poll, the Zionist regime should strive to reach a comprehensive agreement to return all its prisoners from Gaza, even if the cost of this agreement is a ceasefire and an end to the war on Gaza.
Meanwhile, the families of the Zionist captives, in a statement, called Benjamin Netanyahu “a savage” who they said only thinks about his own political interests.
According to the Palestinian news agency Shehab, the families emphasized that our children are still in Gaza because of Netanyahu's stance on a ceasefire deal.
We must raise our voices against the continuation of the war in the Gaza Strip and return all the prisoners from there, the statement said, adding that the cessation of the war and the agreement are in the interest of the Zionist regime.
These families said Netanyahu has resorted to propaganda in order to mislead the Zionist public opinion with the aim of defeating the agreement on the release of the captives.
"Netanyahu wants to bury my son in a tunnel," said Einaf Singoker, the mother of a Zionist prisoner who strongly criticized Netanyahu’s occupying regime and its failure to reach an agreement with Hamas.
She particular condemned Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, the two far-right extremist ministers in Netanyahu cabinet, saying they are interested in inciting war and are campaigning to continue this war forever.
Earlier, Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas warned the residents of the occupied territories and the families of the captives held in Gaza in a video message about Netanyahu's indifference to the fate of the prisoners.
Qassam released a picture of the son of Netanyahu, who is vacationing on the beaches of Miami, US and compared him with a symbolic image of a Zionist prisoner in the war-ravaged Gaza.
Yair is in Miami and out of danger, what else can force Netanyahu to make a comprehensive agreement? the Hamas military wing taunted in three languages, Arabic, English, and Hebrew, with the aim of informing the families how much their premier care for their loved ones.
