AhlulBayt News Agency: The Palestinian health ministry said on Thursday that a Palestinian elderly woman and a young man were shot martyred by Israeli forces in Balata refugee camp near Nablus City in the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources, fierce clashes happened between Palestinian resistance fighters and Israeli forces in Balata camp, amid Israeli siege of the camp and intense shooting at citizens.
The Red Crescent said its ambulance crews provided first aid for six wounded civilians, including two elderlies, and transferred them to hospitals, adding that Israeli soldiers prevented ambulances from evacuating some casualties and opened fire around them.
Later, the Red Crescent announced the martyrdom of 80-year-old Halima Abu Lail and a young man called Qusay Saruji.
