AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A group of talented female calligraphers from Isfahan will showcase their artworks about Hazrat Zahra (SA) at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad.
The calligraphy woks will be presented during a special event called “Lady of Paradise”, Mohsen Baharzadeh, a veteran calligrapher from the central city of Isfahan told IQNA.
He said the program will be held on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA).
A delegation comprising 40 female calligraphers from Isfahan have left for Mashhad to take part in the program, he stated.
It will be held from Tuesday to Monday, December 25 at the holy mausoleum, according to Baharzadeh.
It includes an exhibition of works about Hazrat Zahra (SA) and Najmeh Khatoun, the mother of Imam Reza (AS), he noted.
There will also calligraphy events at the halls and museum of the Astan (custodianship of the holy shrine), honoring female artists and unveiling a book of calligraphy works by late master Habibollah Fazaeli, he went on to say.
The 20th day of the month of Jumada al-Thani in the lunar Hijri calendar, which falls on Sunday, December 22, this year, marks the birth anniversary of the beloved daughter of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
It is also celebrated as the women’s day and mother’s day.
