AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized the ceremony of the age Takleef (religious duty) with the participation of 2,500 girls in the city of Karachi in the state of Pakistan.
This came on the sidelines of the Second Women Festival organized by the Institute of the heritage of the prophets for electronic Theological Studies/ Urdu branch, affiliated with the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) in the Pakistani city of Karachi.
The representative of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine in Pakistan, Sheikh Nasser Abbas Najafi, said: "the holy shrine is keen to sponsor and organize events that consolidate Islamic culture in various communities, as we are witnessing today the organization of this program, which comes with the participation of 2,500 girls who have reached the legal age of religious duty, from the city of Karachi and some nearby cities.
He added that" the activities of the program included holding a group prayer, giving guidance speeches from the delegation of the holy shrine, reciting religious poems, and organizing purposeful plays, "noting that"this comes in compliance with the directives of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi.
"The program is being held for the second time in Pakistan, on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), and aims to instill Islamic culture in the souls of girls and urge them to adhere to the teachings of their religion,"he added.
