Raising the banner of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in the center of Al-Kawthar University in Pakistan

The delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in Pakistan held the event of raising the banner of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), in the center of Al-Kawthar University in the capital Islamabad.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in Pakistan held the event of raising the banner of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), in the center of Al-Kawthar University in the capital Islamabad.

This comes on the sidelines of the Second Women Festival, organized by the heritage of the prophets Institute for electronic Theological Studies / Urdu branch of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the holy shrine, on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) in the city of Karachi in the Pakistani capital Islamabad, starting on Friday 6/ 12/ 2024 and for seven days.

The delegation was represented by the director of the Office of the Senior Official; Dr. Afdhal al-Shami, the head of the Religious Affairs Department, Sheikh Salah al-Karbalai, the assistant to the head of the gifts and vows Department, Mr. Mohammed jaloukhan, and a number of the servants of the al-Abbas's (p) shrine.

The representative of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine in Pakistan, Sheikh Nasser Abbas Najafi, said that "on the sidelines of the second annual festival held in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her), witnessed the holding of many diverse events, presented by the delegation of the holy shrine".

He added that"the events included raising the banner of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in the center of Al-Kawthar University, in the presence of a gathering of believers, and during the event, Sheikh Mohsen al-Najafi was recalled, through a Quranic session.

The women's festival will witness the establishment of multiple paragraphs, discussing a number of researches on the biography and position of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her), in addition to seminars and introductory tours of educational, religious and cultural institutions, and poetry evenings.

The festival aims to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Our Lady of the women of the worlds (peace be upon her) in Pakistan, highlight glimpses of her blessed life, and highlight the interest of the holy shrine in women.
