Fatimiyya mourning ceremony to be held for Urdu speakers in Iran

The head of the International Affairs Department of Lady Masuma Holy Shrine announced that a special mourning ceremony will be held for Urdu speakers from India, Pakistan and Afghanistan for three nights in the Najma Khatoon (PBUH) Shabestan of Lady Masuma Holy Shrine.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The head of the International Affairs Department of Lady Masuma Holy Shrine announced that a special mourning ceremony will be held for Urdu speakers from India, Pakistan and Afghanistan for three nights in the Najma Khatoon (PBUH) Shabestan of Lady Masuma Holy Shrine.

In an interview, the head of the International Affairs Department of Lady Masuma Holy Shrine Mr. Kamal Soraya Ardakani referred to the holding of the largest Urdu-speaking gatherings on the occasion of the martyrdom of Hazrat Zahra (peace be upon her) in Lady Masuma Holy Shrine (PBUH) , and said,” The large gathering of Urdu speakers on the occasion of Fatimiyya Days in the Shrine of Hazrat Masuma (peace be upon her) has been held every year for three nights in the Najma Khatoon Shabestan since 2012.

He further noted that this year, thanks to the efforts of the International Affairs Department of the Holy Shrine, the mourning ceremony for Urdu speakers will be held from Monday, December 2 after the Isha prayer for three nights from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM in the Najma Khatoon Shabestan (peace be upon her).

Soraya Ardakani emphasized that Urdu-speaking pilgrims will gather from different countries in this ceremony, as in previous years, and Shia cleric Hujjat al-Islam Maulana Syed Hussain Naqvi will be the main speaker of the event, and Mir Hassan Mir, Ali Safdar, and Shahed Baltistani will be the eulogists.

He concluded by saying,” Mir Sajjad and Mir Takallom will also recite poetry in these mourning gatherings for Lady Fatima, and the memorial prayer ceremony will be performed by the Prayer Promotion Group.
