AhlulBayt News Agency: The number of Israelis consuming very hazardous psychopathic substances amounted to %22.7 in April 2022 and, with the onset of the regime's aggressive attacks on Gaza, this number has highly been accelerated.
These days, suicide and consumption of illicit drugs have increased among Zionists; indicating, more than anything else, part of a spiritual and psychological crisis among the Israeli community. Ali "Maroufi Arani", researcher of Judaism and Zionism, in an article on Mehr magazine, wrote, "With the start of the aggressive attacks of the Zionist regime on Gaza, the number of Zionists who consume narcotic substances, such as alcohol, hashish and the like, has increased %25."
According to the studies conducted by Zionist sources in November and December 2023, after the attacks of October 7, 2023 (Operation al-Aqsa Storm) and the Gaza war, Zionist settlers increased consumption of psychoactive substances and the consumption of hypnotic pills and painkillers has increased %180 and %70 respectively.
The consumption of narcotics is not a new thing among Zionists as, according to the reports, such substances have been highly consumed among Zionist military. A British institute's report showed in 2012 that the figure of drug consumption amounted to %22 among the Zionist military and revealed that this trend had increased 4 times among the Israeli army from 1993-2012.
However, in 2021, the Zionist daily Jerusalem Post, announced in a report that hashish is the most popular psychoactive substance among the Israeli military. The number of Israelis consuming very hazardous psychopathic substances amounted to %22.7 in April 2022 and, with the onset of the regime's aggressive attacks on Gaza, this number has reached %26.6.
Nevertheless, Zionist daily Yedioth Ahronoth announced that the spread of spiritual and psychological problems among Zionist army has caused the military officials of the regime to set up a section for psychological rehabilitation of military forces and invited many psychiatrists to cooperate.
Haaretz, too, quoting from Yossi Levi-Belz, head of the center for suicide research and psychological pains in Israel, said, "The Gaza war has badly affected Israeli soldiers and, according to the acquaintances of the military who have committed suicide, they are suffering from the psychological ills caused by the crimes they have faced [committed] in Gaza."
In view of this, the Radio and TV Organization of the Zionist regime reported in November 2024 that "Asaf Dagan", Israeli reserve soldier, had committed suicide. Another Israeli soldier, "Santiago Ovadia" also committed suicide after returning from the Gaza war.
American news channel, CNN, in a report, pointing to the spread of Israeli crimes against humanity in Gaza, wrote, "The increase of suicide among soldiers who return from the Gaza war indicates serious psychological ills which the individuals engaged in the ongoing genocide in this strip are experiencing."
According to this report, the Israeli military is plagued with thousands of soldiers who have been infected with Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
