To mark November 29, the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, a gathering in support of Palestinians and Gaza was held in Belgrade. The event was attended by ambassadors from Palestine, Cuba, and Venezuela, the cultural attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran, members of the Serbian Student Federation, representatives from political parties, Serbian political and social activists, and a group of Palestinian students.
Participants at the gathering emphasized global support for the people of Palestine and Gaza, calling for the exposure of the true nature of American and Western backers who are the main supporters of these crimes. They demanded an immediate halt to the brutal attacks by the usurping Israeli regime and the cessation of US support for the Israeli regime.
The International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People is observed annually on November 29, highlighting the importance of Palestinian sovereignty as an independent nation, recognized by 146 countries, which is equivalent to 75 percent of the UN member states.
