AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Some 120,000 pieces of warm clothing and 5,000 blankets collected in the national campaign of "Hiba" (A Gift for Solidarity) have been loaded for shipment to Lebanon under the auspices of Astan Quds Razavi (AQR).
The campaign was organized by the Center for Women and Family Affairs of Karamat Razavi Foundation in collaboration with the Razavi Women and Family Volunteer Network.
It is worth mentioning that the first phase of loading took place on November 25 in Tehran at the packaging site of these aids, organized by the Representative Office of AQR’s Volunteers in Tehran Province.
Mohammad Hossein Ostad Aagha, the CEO of Karamat Razavi Foundation, noted, "The 'Hiba' campaign to help the noble and resilient people of Lebanon began a while ago by the AQR’s Volunteers Network and the Center for Women and Family Affairs”.
He added, “Thanks to the charitable and humanitarian actions of the Iranians, some 120,000 pieces of warm clothing and 5,000 blankets have been prepared and sent to Lebanon."
Ostad Agha highlighted that the total value of these aids in the "Hiba" campaign is equivalent to 300 billion Rials, all funded by the kind people and benefactors.
Also, Fatemeh Dezhbord, head of the Center for Women and Family Affairs talked about collecting process, saying, "With the emphasis of the Leader on the necessity of all-out assistance to the resilient people of Lebanon and following the instructions of AQR’s custodian, the campaign was quickly publicized across the country”.
Iranian women enthusiastically participated, collecting clothes, knitting warm garments, and preparing other necessities.
Some women even went to markets and businesses to collect financial aid and purchase the needed items.
According to Dezhbord, “This widespread reception exceeded the expectations of the campaign organizers”.
She noted, "Iranian mothers always take the lead in times of crisis and put all their efforts into helping their fellow humans”.
“The campaign demonstrated that Iranian women are always ready to assist those in need under any circumstances", she continued.
Due to the overwhelming response and the increasing needs of the people in Lebanon and Gaza, AQR volunteer centers in Iranian provinces have requested that the Hiba campaign continue until the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zahra.
